“That’s more like it.”は「ずっと良い、良くなった、そっちの方が
良い、その方が私の希望に近い、そうこなくっちゃ」などの意味がある。
“more like ～”は「むしろ～に近い、～と言った方がずっと良い」と
いう意味。
Ex: “I cooked your steak for a bit longer.”
“That’s more like it. I hate steak when it’s rare.”
（君のステーキをもう少し焼いたよ。）
（これがいいよ！レアーのステーキが大嫌いよ。）
more like は「～に近い 」
「ビーバーってねずみっぽくない？」
「うーん、うさぎって感じかな」
という会話だと、
「Don’t you think a beaver looks like a mouse?」
「Well… it’s more like a rabit, I guess.」
